Three ways you can strengthen our children's and communities' futures.

The SJPS Foundation has established two funds.

The Endowment Fund with the Berrien Community Foundation, provides interest income to support enrichment in academics, arts, music and theater. Based on your personal income tax filings, your gift may be tax deductible and eligible for Three ways you can strengthen our children’s and communities’ futures. a 50% Michigan tax credit, subject to the set maximums. Talk with your financial advisor to see how you and the SJPS Foundation can benefit.

Special Activities Fund provides dollars to meet the immediate needs of the Foundation to support teachers and special projects in our areas of focus. Your gift may be deductible if you itemize deductions on your personal income tax return. See your financial advisor for more information.

Grant a wish. The third way you can help is to either donate your time and talents or grant a wish on the Foundation list. You can make any of these gifts by completing a donor card or by contacting a SJPS board member or the Foundation directly. You’ll find contact information on the last page of this brochure or at www.stjoseph publicschoolsfoundation.org. Please be the reason our schools and communities remain strong.

• No Show Ball - This annual Spring funraiser put a fun twist on our fundraising. No need to buy a fancy dress or take time out of your busy schedule, just sit back and send in you donation.

• Honorariums and Memorials - a wonderful way to honor someone and leave a meaningful legacy in their name. Each year we honor many individuals who have contributed to education and St. Joseph Schools. Names are listed in our newsletters and annual publications.

• End of Year Giving - Make your tax deductible donation before the year is through. This annual drive allows the SJPS Foundation to continue to fund many teacher grants each year.
